"Detroit Urban Adventures" tours of Detroit:

Detroit Tour Connections has been partnering since 2010 with "Intrepid Urban Adventures"
to make tours of Detroit available to the public.  

For 2016, we will be offering three tours -- including our new tour of the Corktown neighborhood.

The D You Must See" (9:30-11:30am / March-Nov / T, W, Th, F, Sat + Sun)
This is a 2-hour walking tour of the highlights of downtown Detroit.
    It starts outside the cafe at 1555 Broadway.   It includes the tour of Detroit highlights
    like the Renaissance Center and Guardian Building, plus fares for a couple of rides
    on the People Mover, and your choice of a free piece of baklava in Greektown or a
    free coney dog at American Coney Island.

    "Corktown is Popping!" (1:00-3:00pm / May - Nov / T, W, Th, F, Sat + Sun)
    This is a 2-hour walking tour of the Corktown neighborhood.
    It starts from outside of 2130 Michigan Avenue.  It includes the tour of residential streets,
    the business strip on Michigan Avenue, and the abandoned MCRR railroad station, plus
    a freshly-baked bagel, and a complimentary half-pint of Guinness or Harp beer (if you are
    age 21 or over) when we end the tour at the Gaelic League Irish-American Club.

Detroit's Rise, Fall and Renewal" (4-6pm / March-Nov, T, W, Th, F, Sat + Sun)
This is a 2-hour walking tour that focuses on Detroit's rise, tragic decline,
    and recent downtown revitalization.  It starts from outside the cafe at 1555 Broadway. 
    It includes a look at many abandoned buildings, many renovated buildings, and
    the beautiful Guardian Building.  It also includes a ride on the People Mover as well as
    a free beer (age 21 and over) at the end of the tour
    at a popular downtown bar.

Space is limited to 12 customers with the guide.
