Guided Walking Tours of Downtown Detroit Since 2004

If you have a larger group and a bus and a driver, our experienced tour guide will "step on" and guide your tour.
This is a great way to see the city -- from Downtown, River Place, Belle Isle, Indian Village, and the Eastern Market, to Midtown, the New Center area and the Motown Museum, to Corktown, Michigan Central Railroad Station and Mexicantown. Tours can include mansions and fine residential neighborhoods, urban farms, abandoned buildings, auto industry sites, ethnic areas, and other places of interest.
Some bus tours venture slightly beyond the city limits -- to Dearborn, to Hamtramck, to the Grosse Pointes.
We recommend a good general tour for most groups. However, if you want a particular focus, we can focus on Auto History Sites, African-American History, Mansions and Fine Residential Areas, Detroit Sports History, Detroit Music Sites, or Urban Art.
We charge a very reasonable fee -- based largely on the amount of time (two hours is standard) and partly on the number of people.
The past few years, we've been involved in providing guides for some cruise ship lines when their ships dock in Detroit as part of their multi-day Great Lakes cruises.
Call (313-701-1900 or email bob@detroittourconnections.com to schedule and plan your group’s tour of Detroit.
PS. If you need to arrange a bus and driver, please call a local transportation provider -- such as Blue Lakes, All-Star, or Trinity Transportation.
