Private Walking Tours
Private Walking Tours are available (but must be scheduled in advance).
For downtown Detroit, it can be our "Rise, Fall and Renewal Tour" or it can be a tour with a topic like Downtown Skyscrapers, Historic Downtown Churches, Historic and Current Downtown Hotels, Downtown Sculptures and Murals, Downtown Buildings from the 1800s, or a Downtown Coney Tour.
Other parts of the city that are very good for a walking tour include Midtown, the Eastern Market, Corktown and the Detroit Riverwalk.
Our walking tour of Corktown includes the Michigan Central Railroad Station, restaurants, bars and stores on Michigan Avenue, the former Tiger Stadium site, some of the lovely neighborhood homes, and the Irish flavor of Corktown.
We charge a reasonable flat fee or per-person fee. A two hour tour for four people is generally $100, plus $25 for each additional person. Groups of more than 10 people may just be $250 or $300.
